The Alert feature allows the monitoring of thousands of components all at once, providing actionable insights to better manage inventory and pricing strategy.

These Alerts can be fully customized, based on the insights and data points you are most interested in managing.

With Alerts, current data on component fluctuations will automatically arrive in your email, keeping you from searching hundreds, even thousands, of part changes manually.

The new VDI Alert Automation tool set also allows you to proactively manage your pricing strategy across your entire channel.

• Get alerted on your products or watch over competing products to understand trends and changes happening across the channel.
• Alerts are fully customizable. Set alerts based on your specific criteria and only for products you want to watch. The component statistics that are important to you will be at your fingertips.
• A weekly summary of alerts will hit your email inbox to keep you up to date without having to check the tool.
• Alerts can be broadcast by email to an individual manager, to a team or to key people who need instant information on critical components.

This feature enhances the already robust dashboard of the VDI platform which provides component data that includes demand signals, historical pricing data, ongoing inventory and cross referencing of alternates and more. VDI’s data taps into signals on millions of components across the electronics industry.
